Does anyone fancy jumping on a zoom call on Wednesday evening, 8.30, cameras optional?

It's not easy for us all to get together in person but I am sure more of us could jump on a zoom.

…why have we gone through 2 years and 3 lockdowns without any of us fellas thinking of this little bit of inspiration ? For Lord sake, do the women have to do everything round here ?

Personal circumstances don’t always allow privacy to chat in our way but I will certainly make the effort to say hello. It would be nice to put a voice to a name, that would be interesting. As would the opportunity to chat beyond the structure of posts. Post-post chat.

Camera off for me, I don’t want you all being jealous of my Adonis good looks*.

One thing; I’ve never actually done an actual ‘Zoom’ chat (it’s always been ‘Teams’), can I do it on wor I-pad ?

I suppose it’s ‘bring your own bottle’…errrr, let’s not go there.

Unfortunately, we eat at 8.30 and Mrs Poshie would want to know WHY I wasn't on parade promptly. I can't think of a decent excuse .....

There’s a word you don’t here anymore…’pantry’. My Grandad tucked his away under the stairs. No fridge or freezer, just a framed mesh box to keep the flies off his pork.

Zoom is very similar to teams, you can use it on a phone, iPad, tablet or computer. For ease of use, I would suggest downloading the app onto your device then you will just have to click on the link I will post here and it will take you straight to the meeting room.

Poshie, we may be around for an hour so if you are able to pop on after your meal, it would be great to "meet" you. If not we can try a different time if enough want to join and do it again.

Sadly I lost my mum Saturday night I'm heartbroken but I need a distraction so I would be in at anytime just let me know.

Also thank you all for your kind words the nurse told me she passed peacefully in her sleep

Whatever gets you through is the right thing to do.

Its a no from me though.
Just too difficult to explain to a nearly one year old who will have exhausted me by 8-30.
