Why not Wetherspoons in Charing x rd.
It was suggested last time. It’s big enough but if it is not to everyone’s taste then we can easily move on elsewhere.

And surely all pubs are big enough to stage a UKM social. Even if every single active member attended.

I made that choice but also added we could also go elsewhere.

Yes sadly the days of UKM social gatherings, Purple Turtle charity bashes, Brighton pub meets and Grahams tea parties are over. How I recall my dear friend Moose hosting too and that other long lost member Sisi. But some of us remember them fondly even if you do not. Not even in one of your other incarnations.

Some us enjoy the company of reality. Wether there is just two, three or four of us. It is still a chance to drink, be merry and enjoy.

Try it Bjorn. Plenty of time for you to make arrangements to come meet us. I do not bite.

And yes it's very sad that the numbers are so low. Bet they were great events to attend back in the day before all the good posters were bullied off the site. Hope it goes well.
