UKM - Loose women - UK

Caught some of Loose Women as I was just leaving. They were discussing chat lines. More to the point the men who called sex lines.
"Sad men who use them" was one comment.

After my comment about how I could not understand any man wanting to be a money pig or a cash cow to a mistress. I just wondered how this would be met.

I did not see the program but i find the comment you have mentioned
to be misinformed, ignorant and closed minded. Something the loose women usually pride themselves on not being.

There are many reasons why a person would call the sex lines, it is not always about sex (ok ok but not always) and even if it is it is nobody's business anyway, whats the harm as long as a person knows upfront what they are starting up and any possible risks they decide to take by doing so.

There are to many people in this world thinking their way of thinking is the only way.

In general, I think it is the sort of comment made by women who, rather than relishing the differences between the sexes, think that men should be like women when it comes to sexuality.

What makes this a bit surprising is you can imagine what the reaction would have been from some of these people if lots of men had talked about 'sad women' reading fifty shades.

But we should remember that the programme has to cater to a daytime audience and being anything but critical of sex lines is probably a bit too controversial for a daytime audience.
