UKM - Where will you go? - UK

With the announcement of the imminent closure of UKM; see Lady Samantha's post in the Admin and Security section; I wondered where members intended to go?

I have been a member of Fetlife since Informed Consent closed and shall continue there. I shall miss this forum as it is somewhat less frenetic than others and on the whole refreshingly free of trolls.

What a great shame, although though I'm not on here all the time I've enjoyed UKM tremendously over the years. Same as IC prior to it's closure.

Fetlife just seems hard to navigate and find the stuff you want to read and just doen't have a community feel the way UKM has.

I'm open to UK orientated alternatives.

It's a question I have not asked myself

I do frequent another site dedicated solely to the cuckold fetish. But it is not a forum like UKM. Has no membership feel about it and I certainly don't feel like one of the crowd. I doubt if anyone who uses it thinks any differently. Also strange that I felt the need to join that site using another nick. Like my GS name was solely meant for UKM use.

UKM has been the only forum I have frequented. I think I may have logged on to get life (Lol) or IC years ago. But yes I can honestly say it's only been UKM for me.

I don't think I will be looking for anywhere else if it all ends.
But by god my golf should improve. What a bunch of repravates and pervs that crowd is.

While I have tried various fetish sites this has always seemed the most genuine and straightforward. Less time wasters and more humour. Sadly many of the Mistresses who used to visit regularly have faded away.
Twitter etc may be to blame who can tell. Unless someone with the time and skills comes forward this looks like goodbye.

If anybody is inclined to follow, they're very welcome; moderation is kept to a minimum as I loathe censorship and tbh many discussions have been somewhat political--which I encourage.

Well I (and others) are not running up the White flag just yet*, but should the time come when we are faced with insurmountable odds then I shall save my last bullet for Slutty Rimmer.

I have no interest in posting elsewhere and I really do not have the energy to re-think and re-argue all the opinions I have gobsh%ted over the years. Continuation or execution for the Slut, but no re-creation.

This is all very sad but not totally unexpected. I was a lurker here for a while before I joined 4 years ago and I have valued the advice I have received here both in open forum and privately. I have made some good connections and I have been able to help others too. The forum is a shadow of the earlier times when I joined but I will miss it. As for where I will go I agree about Fetlife. It is hard to navigate and there are too many narcissists for my taste. I belong to another forum which is lively but it is not exclusively BDSM orientated. Very sad but I wish you all well. Vale and Farewell.
