Unfortunately, the best tip for walking on heels is... do it from a young age!
I have women friends who never wore high heels as teenagers or later, and try to start in their thirties... It's going to be a lost battle, I'm afraid. The ones who were vain and impractical from an early age (cough! ) can wear them on a daily basis |

Cough
I remember my first pair of heels, aged 15 I begged my dad to buy them for me for school. He finally succommed, and I tell you I remember that tittering and awful practice in them, og the pain and the awkwardness. I actually have a brand new pair of leather 6 inched, none platform thigh boots, a birthday gift from my scottish sub. I was rather nervous about them, I can walk in 8 inched platforms lol. I was rather surprised when I was strutting around in them on saturday, such a relief I can walk in them no probs lol. Quote:

Yes, I got my first pair of heels at 15 too. My mum reckoned that before that age it was bad for the spine and back, but hit 15, and I could wear the dizziest heels, she didn't care. And that's exactly what I did
She also had this theory that once you start wearing heels, you can't go back to flats, which is complete rubbish. Obviously it's her excuse to wear nothing else, cos she's always been the ultimate high heel Goddess, me mam |
