Default How serious is serious?

Just moving on from something in another thread - and other comments around today

I have related this story before but many moons ago I sessioned with a high profile domme who some here of the same vintage as me will have seen and thought brilliant

She put me on a lead, tied my hands behind my back and marched me around the place. On our travels we met the maid. I was slightly embarrassed and grinned a bit shamefacedly at her. I was immediately berated for not taking the session seriously and at the end, she said she didn't want to see me again because of my lighthearted approach to it all

Now, those who know me, are aware that my sessions do often get interrupted by giggles and that I don't take it at all seriously

I just wondered about you out there in UKM land. I think many of us have got our heads screwed on and have the balance right. But when you are actually in session does that need to be pretty serious - maybe to get you in the right frame of mind?
