The days creep forward towards the 2nd.
GG has already had a haircut and I will be following suit. GG has already bought a new frock and I will not be wearing a suit. I am actually ill would you believe it. For some unknown reason I've broken out in some kind of allergic rash. My GP has given it some kind of name that I can't pronounce. Bearing in mind I'm a Geordie so most long words are a difficulty. GG has been incredibly sympathetic, wanting to nurse me back to health. I think she just wants to put on her latex nurses uniform but hey...... who's complaining. So I've been looking very strange of late. Yes that's right, for anyone who has ever met me personally........ even stranger. !!!! Covered in Camomile lotion. If any of you has ever suffered with anything like hives or similar you'll understand what I mean. When you have an itch..... you want to scratch it.

As with everything, you can please some of the people some of time .........
There are very few of us that will be able to get away and spend a few hours in the company of like minded folk when we are scattered about this Isle. I for one work, so attending a mid week Munch is out of the question unless it coincided with a business trip to our great Capital. Similarly as I am married, I can't justify to my OH a day in London on my 'own' at a weekend. In respect of Gay Bars, I would not bat an eyelid walking into one and having a drink with anyone. In fact I can vouch for the one GS is talking about as he and the delectable GG took me there in January; great atmosphere and in the company of a great couple. So whoever can attend, please do so as it will be a hoot and it's always good to put faces to screen names. I hope it gets the attendance and success it deserves  And I hope GS is back up to full strength after his mystery illness. Maybe his 'pre allergic' reaction is to the thought of having to buy a round of drinks

1st Saturday in September too is not good for me. Prior engagement I'm afraid. Last time I met up with any of the gang was in the previous century. Hope I won't have to leave it as long for the next occasion.
