UKM - Iespell spell checker - UK

I think everybody at some point wants help with spelling.

I just installed windows 7 and found no spell checker(I had iespell installed on old system).

I on the off chance googled iespell but was not hopeful as last release was 2006.

Good news there is know a 2010 releases and works great with windows 7

Can a mod please pin this as it helps a lot of people

So are you saying you are still surfing the web with IE, number one exploitable browser currently available. Hated by all webmasters because not following/using web standards?

Firefox has spell check already included from base, and I believe it is also available for Chrome and Safari.

You should really think about moving away from IE.

I do use both but only just installed windows 7 and want to be shure firefox is 100% safe with 7

Also like to add most people are happy with IE and do not want to swap.

I do dabble but a lot of people use what they get with the computer they buy.Why is ie so hacked because so many people use it.

There is a spell checker built into the microsoft system at work, there are two drawbacks, the first being that it sometimes quotes American spellings as correct color / colour and the second is that judging by th memos sent round very few people actually use it.

If I am posting on here, I sometimes have to stop and think about the spelling but usually am ok.

Good job people aren't using text speak yet for postings
