Yes, it can be a bit iffy getting the subway to a session.

I did hear on the District Line once, the driver say on the PA “To the gentleman wearing the wet suit and gas mask trying to get on the second carriage, what part of 'stand clear of the doors' don't you understand?"

Come to think of it, the man trying to get on might have had a geordie accent…
