i phones
....if thats how you spell it.
About once a year I look at the provision of "mobile communications devices" as we used to say in Megolithic Era. I need to equip six people with whatever kit is necessary to keep in touch with them inside the U.K.None of us is very tech savvy, most of us are advancing into middle age.We operate mostly from our cars or at best from construction site offices or from hotel rooms in the evenongs (or evenings as some people say) We need to be able to send voicemails and emails,to get information about local suppliers and other businesses etc etc.We will often need to send or receive quite large email attachments (including blueprints/specifications etc) The kit needs to be VERY robust, easy to operate for largish peeps with largish hands etc etc. Right now we use Dell laptops with 3g dongles and conventional Samsung C3350 phones. Our network is Orange. Are iPhones what we need or something else? What are the pros and cons of other kit? All help gratefully received |
