Trans-gender Thread.
Okay guys let’s keep this one respectful and free from any toxicity.
Picking up from where we left off, on the subject of a child* claiming to be a trans… Quote:

Miss Information.
Disappointing to read in the The Times last week how Dr Hilary Cass is now receiving a barrage of abusive vile e-mails from the trans-activists following the publishing of her meticulous review into the treatment of children diagnosed with ‘gender-dysphoria’. This tells us a lot about the tactics of these trans-ideologues.
In an interview with the paper Dr Cass admitted that as a consequence she has now been advised not to travel on public transport for fear of attack from the ‘be kind’ activists* who purport to be defenders of the trans-folk. As bad as the activist abuse might be Dr Cass says it is the deliberate and ignorant attempt to discredit her review with disinformation that is the most annoying. The day before her review was even published it was being claimed on social-media that only 2 out of 100 studies were included in the report. Cass particularly singles out the reliably ignorant Labour MP Dawn Butler who echoed the disinformation when standing up during the House of Commons debate on the issue and told a whopping lie to Parliament when she tried to rubbish the report of the respected paediatrician by claiming that Dr Cass had rejected 100 studies on gender treatment for kids…. “There are around 100 studies that have not been included in this Cass report and we need to know why.” This was totally incorrect. If Butler had troubled herself to read the report she would have realised that all known studies were reviewed which amounted to 103 and each of these were classified into high/medium/low integrity according to the standard scientific methodologies being applied. Cass explained that researchers had appraised every single paper, but included only those which were either high or medium quality so as to ensure scientific rigour. The high and medium quality studies accounted for 60 out of the 103, not 2 as claimed by Butler when spreading the fake disingenuous news to Parliament.  Reliably wrong but unaware Labour MP Dawn ‘Fake News’ Butler…or Miss Information as she can now be known. Dr Cass said of Butler “…what I was dismayed about, was the understanding she got [from the report].” before adding that spreading such disinformation with the result of discrediting and denying science was putting children “at risk” of continued medical abuse and malpractice. Of course, as we have seen here, some people consider the rigorous application of medical science and the safeguarding of vulnerable disturbed children to be “…of no great import in the grand scheme of things”…baseless but abusive ideology supported by fake news is more their kind of thing. Kind Regards, Rimmer. * Although, as Dr Cass alludes, we have for years seen ad-hominem attacks and threats of violence and ‘cancelling’ replace evidence based debate and reasoned analysis. Just understanding and confirming the biological truth that sex in humans is immutable and binary was enough to be considered a ‘transphobe’. This is not surprising coming from a delusional cult that believes men can actually become women (and vice versa) from just an incanted fairy spell of self-declaration which has fed a dangerous and inflammatory narrative that fuelled these inevitable but necessary ‘culture wars’.

Always interesting what gets left out of these quotes
“In an interview with the Times, Dr Hilary Cass said she was pleased that, for the most part, both sides in the debate over the treatment of children with gender dysphoria had not “weaponised” her report” Which is what most of us have been saying. If the extremes (on whichever side of the debate) continue to snipe it’ll be harder to take this report forward
