"Fakery ?" ...
“The commissioner of the Metropolitan police has praised the “professional” conduct of the sergeant who stopped an antisemitism campaigner at a pro-Palestinian march and warned that officers at other protests had been “set up” by activists using “fakery” to undermine the force.
In an interview with the Guardian, Mark Rowley said the sergeant involved in the incident with Gideon Falter would not be disciplined and vigorously defended the Met’s handling of the six months of protests since the 7 October attacks on Israel. Defying calls for his resignation, Rowley faced a series of crisis meetings on Monday with the two people who could oust him – the home secretary, James Cleverly, and the London mayor, Sadiq Khan – as well as British Jewish groups. It followed footage emerging of a Met officer telling Falter, of the Campaign Against Antisemitism, that because he was “openly Jewish” he would not be allowed to walk across a pro-Palestinian protest march through central London on 13 April. A 13-minute Sky video of the exchange shows the officer offering to escort Falter away from the demonstration, and saying he was being disingenuous about his motives for wanting to cross the road at that point.” Activists with motives. Surely not ? …

Reclaim the streets…for the misogynists and anti-Semites.
Quote:
No more than we would expect any person - however racially ethnic they might look whether it be the thick lips and curly hair of black people or the big noses and sunken eyes of ‘openly Jewish’ people* - to justify their presence and intention because of how they appear. No, it seems Sir Mark Rowley is just doubling down on the Met’s typical fall-back defence of victim shaming. Gaslighting the public to hide their weakness and inability to police the uncontrollably violent anti-Semitic mob. Easier to blame the vulnerable potential victim rather than tackle the potentially violent perpetrators. Swapping victims over, what is effectively being said in The Guardian is… “The commissioner of the Metropolitan police has praised the “professional” conduct of the sergeant who stopped the young lady dressed provocatively in an area full of men and said that officers in other similar areas had been “set up” by attractive young women wearing sexy clothes using “women’s liberty and freedom” to undermine the force. In an interview with the Guardian, Mark Rowley said the sergeant involved in the incident with the woman would not be disciplined and vigorously defended the Met’s handling of increased attacks and misogynist abuse on women. It followed footage emerging of a Met officer telling a pretty woman in a short skirt that because she was “openly attractive and sexy” she would not be allowed to walk through that area of London at that time. A 13-minute video of the exchange shows the officer offering to escort the woman away from the men, and saying she was being disingenuous about her motives for wanting to be in that place at that time”. He is saying the Jews, like the women, are at fault and just asking for it because they are the more vulnerable but are easier to police. Might is right for the Met. Kind Regards, Rimmer. * What did that officer mean by saying somebody looked ‘openly Jewish’ ? Would he have felt emboldened to say similar of somebody looking ‘openly muslim’ or ‘openly coloured’ ? Would Khan have managed to be a bit more outraged and vocal if a Met officer had said the equivalent ? He would call that racism, but for some reason a certain cohort of people prefer not to consider anti-Semitism as being racism, they don’t like white people getting in on that victim grift. Would an ‘openly muslim’ officer have said that to a Jew ? We are seeing now how ‘diversity is our strength’ is leading to London becoming un-policeable. Diversity is tearing us apart, it is inevitable when the focus is on multi-culturalism rather than integration.

Tears in my popcorn...
'Con Air 2, The Rishi Sunak Cut.' One for the 2025 Oscar nominations.
Sit back and watch as asylum seekers are handcuffed, manacled and bundled on to flights bound for a country in the heart of Africa, thousands of miles from where they started their journey from. A hard watch through fingers at times and not a good look for us, as the rest of the civilised world looks on. "Might be difficult to find air charter outfits, who put monetary gain before human rights and pilots to operate the flights," one of the cinema viewers remarked. But, getting back to the movie, that moment when the 50 year old Jumbo jet, flown by an alcoholic blood diamond smuggling pilot, getting into difficulties and crashing into the African bush, was quite shocking…

Just obeying orders.
Let’s not forget that time just recently when Met officers were pictured ‘engaging’ with a child dressed as a Hamas terrorist at one of the ‘not at all anti-Semitic’ peace marches.
My First Little Terrorist. Who can honestly say they haven’t accidentally dressed their child up as a child murdering granny torturing girl raping terrorist when marching with ‘warmth and solidarity’ to try and stop Israel protecting itself from child murdering granny torturing girl raping terrorists ? Exactly. You would though rather hope the officers themselves somewhere in their morally vacuous tiny pea brains would have sensed it wasn’t right to show ‘warmth and solidarity’ with people who dress their children up as child torturing terrorists. No, such cognitive dissonance can easily be buried whilst the indoctrination and institutional capture convinces them they are the good guys. They get smacked-up on virtue. This is how it starts, by just obeying orders, and indoctrination. They say the Jews are just asking for it again…like last time, and the police are acquiescent and enabling it again…like last time, and people are buying it again…like last time. Kind Regards, Rimmer. * There are so many levels of ‘wrong’ in that picture. Some of them really quite sickening and dangerous for our society, and the two police goons would likely not be aware of anything worrying at all.

Happy ‘Did you know St George was actually…’ Day
Hope everyone had a good St George’s day.
The weather has been really lovely up here today and the pink cherry blossom and yellow daffodils looked ‘openly resplendent’ in the Spring sunshine. Kind Regards, Rimmer.

Does anyone do anything different on St George’s Day
It’s been changeable weather wise here. I worked out this morning - visited the osteopath - and then binge watched Red Eye Nothing special but pleasant enough

A good day...
Quote:
Watched the whole series of Red Eye on ITV X on Monday night. Got hooked on the first episode and binge watched the series. Poured a glass of Pinot Noir between episodes. Good casting. Loved Jing Lusi, so much attitude. Armitage cool as ever. St Georges Day. Green Thai curry in Covent Garden with friends, then off to Arsenal for what was to be our match of the season. “Tsamina mina eh eh, Waka waka eh eh, 60 million down the drain Kai Havertz scores again” Couple of pints of Gamma Ray after the match, then off home in blissful contentment to knock out the zzzzzz's ...

'Openly,' is what it is and what you see is what you get...
Some enjoyed the day, as they clashed with police in Whitehall. Definitely an ‘openly’ English way to celebrate the day. The horse looking on aloofly, seemed 'openly' equine about it...

Armitage could play that sort of role in his sleep Yes re Jing Lusi. Thought she grew as the series progressed. Good interview with her here https://www.theguardian.com/global/2...-became-a-star "She just wanted to fit in. “I managed to get through school by adopting this persona of: ‘I’m wild and erratic, don’t pick on me because I’m not submissive.’ It’s kind of stuck,” she says with a laugh."
