Six Nations rugby...
Getting spoiled this Friday.
What a start France v Ireland. That 20 yard ruck and roll try that France scored against SA in the QF's of last year's World Cup, was truly spectacular and memorable...

Yep it’s gonna be a close one in Marseilles
Bumper weekend ahead in all the major sports. Bumper month in fact. Looking forward to all the reaction/banter on here. And dare I add, just a dash of indecorous humour too. Come on Ireland Last edited by Bjorn Brimble; 02-02-2024 at 09:38. |

Lay on, Macduff…
Roger that, we love a bit of improper ‘unacceptable’ humour.
No dribbling melts welcome here, eh ? It and the rugger is gonna be epic ! “And damn'd be him that first cries, 'Hold, enough’ !” Kind Regards, Rimmer.

Unleash the beast
I sure hope the lads in the Irish scrum have had three shredded wheat this morning.
France could be about to unleash their not-so-secret weapon Teeanager Posolo Tuilagi starts on the bench tonight The latest Tuilagi off the production line. And trust me guys, he’s some unit 6”4 and weighs a whopping 150kg. Yikes The 19 year old is renowned for his immense power over close quarters and an incredibly difficult beast to bring down, proving too much to handle already for club Perpignan. 19. That’s one heck of a tough paper round by the look of it. |

Headless play by Paul Willemse
But Ireland were good. Thought Crowley grew into the game and his confidence will be sky high after that Got interesting for a while when O’’Mahoney was sent to the bin but France really didn’t get the Marseilles crowd into it Can’t see any other country beating Ireland now

Big win for Ireland...
France haven’t kicked on from the World Cup yet. They were all over the place, a poor performance riddled with handling errors and missed tackles.
Doesn’t help if you get a yellow for a high tackle with direct contact to the head, get sin binned for 10 min, then come back on and do the same thing again, resulting in a second yellow which becomes a red. You’re not going to win an international rugby match with 14 men for more than half the match. Crazy. Having said that, Ireland were ominously good. Their combination of ball handling and rugby brain was superb. They were in complete control. Nailed on cert for the Grand Slam…
