Yes, she passed away a while ago now I believe. In fact I was just looking back to when I heard about it and it might well have been longer ago than I thought. Certainly with the re-hashed videos and the twitter feed etc. they seem to be trying to give the impression that she is still there. As suggested further up the thread, it seems rather distasteful to me but if that is how they wish to run their business...... |

Sorry chaps, but I have to thank Madame Caramel for clarifying. 'Subtle' is one thing; 'opaque' to the point of 'wtf is going on'? is quite another. If the lady in question is deceased, say so; if that inconveniences certain website owners, so what? The knowledge is in the public sphere, and if there is an intention* on the part of some to mislead, have the balls to out them! People have been upset by, and kicked up a fuss over much less.
*even if there's no 'intention', there may well be deliberate omission/ambiguity

I agree that they should have been open, I was surprised however that there was no obituary in the Telegraph there have been many less deserving ... however if I allow myself a sideways look at this, there is a touch of Ealing Comedy about the situation or should it be Midsomer Murders? Then again Taggart seems to have run happily along without the man in question taking on the mudders personally...so why not appoint a new Mrs Silk? (I assume it wasnt her real name anyway)....or widen the scope completely ...leaving room for "The Australian Mrs Silk" tribute site...

I used to visit Mistress Arrabella, also one of Mrs Silks girls, sometimes at Mrs Silks house, and can verify that Mrs Silk died over two years ago. We lost touch soon after. Arrabella was terrific, and always gave a really good sesion, never rushing, I wonder what happened to her.?

I know of only one Arabella and she is based in Manchester. You'll find her at www.themanchesterdungeon.com

Not the same one, I think the Arrabella that used to work with Mrs Silk has retired from the scene.

Ok read the rest of the thread now, I see what unfortunately happened to Mrs Silk. Still interested in Lady Penelope though.

Mistress Annabelle
I saw her only once. By chance I had asked her to be imperious, cold and distant Like others I had travelled quite a long way. The biggest pain was finding the place and problems with communication from the pre arranged meeting point To be honest, she gave me exactly what I asked for. I did not want to empathise with her in any way in order that I could go back. I concurr with others she is stunningly good looking. I will return

I've just spent a while tootling around Mistress Annabelle's site which did look "hmm ... maybe .... " interesting, but that evaporated in the context of comments above. She made me think of Liz (me me me) Jones the infamously moany journalist. The amateurish-corporate style is comical in its ropey cynicism. Perhaps it is largely about subscriptions. Even so goodwill and generosity goes a long way and pays itself back well.
The films - well, one, Hunt - attempts some production values but didn't anyone view it and see it looks ludicrous, and then have another go? It looks to me like an insult to the practice of kink-sexuality. Am-drammers would be embarrassed. It's a pity because there's a promise of something elaborate and potentially kinkily satisfying and worthwhile - as an extensive bdsm experience. it would be nice for someone to pick up Mrs Silk's far more honest fallen torch; i'm not aware of anyone having done so. I never made it to the OWK and don't know if it ever lived up to the fantasy it was apparently trying to be, but, mostly, it looked rather deserted and disappointing. Why didn't they get those slaves to make it look a bit tidier and do some weeding?? With serious effort, imagination, attention to detail and quality control somebody could make some really well-done bdsm erotica, but it all looks tied to the cheapo-ridiculous-70s-lumbering-porny-video-they're-only-perverts-they'll-watch-anything genre ...... doing essentially the same things over and over and over and over again..
