You may well be right, but then if so maybe that shows the strength of feeling people have on the subject. Certainly it was evident yesterday that a number of people felt very strongly about this.

Can we leave it here now please?

It was an excellent day - what has happened has happened and let's think about just how good the event was - as has been shown in the Oub thread

Thanks

Thanks

With the recession to be honest I felt it was not going to be a success happy I was so wrong

Please never say never Mistress Sapphire as you gave so many people a good day

I am so very pleased that the Charity Do seemed to go so well. Reports back to me say fantastic fun was had by all.

Although I was never on the advertised Mistress list, I was deeply sorry to be unable to make it. Unfortunately my dearest Dad died on 28th Oct and I was in Norfolk with p, helping my Mum with funeral and other admin tasks. Nothing would have given me greater pleasure than to have been able to come to London and cane a bum or two but fate had other plans for me.

I am also saddened to learn that Mistress Sapphire considers it her last charity event as I may not meet some of the people I have enjoyed debating with and reading about on UK-M.

It would never have happened without your drive and enthusiasm Mistress Sapphire. Thank you:

Just incase anyone thought I may have gone to Barbados on the proceeds of the charity bash......I haven't. Yesterday I received the last cheque owed and then last night had a phone call from someone also wanting to contribute.

This will take a bit longer, please be patient with me. As I have said in other years.....it worries the life out of me having everyones money in my account for any length of time, but there is no alternative. I hope you all understand.
