Bravo
Watched Top Gun - Maverick last night.
Absolute load of implausible action adventure bollocks. Film making by numbers*. …great stuff it was, and very enjoyable for it. A mash-up of The Dambusters and the end bit of Star Wars. The sort of unapologetic and un-PC movie which Hollywood doesn’t make enough of anymore. Great soundtrack as well. Kind Regards, Rimmer. * We just know he was going to go for more than Mach 10…with predictable results.

An Enemy of the People...
Had to see it after Laura K on Sunday’s, interview with Matt.
Good to get to watch an outstanding play, once in a while. Especially one that is a bit edgy and explores the concept of truth within a society that hungers for power and wealth. Matt Smith stars in the West End, An Enemy of the People. Dr Who becomes Dr Thomas Stockmann in an adaption of Henrik Ibsen’s 19th century play. An Enemy of The People is brilliant for how it addresses environmental issues versus economic interests, professional responsibilities, and the moral dilemmas of whistle-blowing. Written over a century ago, it is still a thing of our times. Ars Longa, Vita Brevis. The audience involvement adds some edge to this piece of theatrical art. An Enemy of the People, is the perfect antidote to our current state of ennui, fed with lies and fake news agendas. We are certainly blessed in London, to have a plethora of so many aspects of culture at our fingertips...
