Nope. That’s a bit of a sexist and belittling thing to say about Geri. Check your inherent bias. Geri is a very rich and independent woman who has got ‘Girl Power’ so we can doubt if she’ll be into letting her fella push her around and ‘commodify’ her.

The employee who made the accusations against Christian Horner has been suspended from her position with RBR.

It appears the female claimant has been suspended and the suspension is in relation to Red Bull’s inquiry and concerns around the accuracy of her evidence.

She must be at the FO part of the FAFO rule.

Don’t mess with Girl Power.

I guess suspension of the female employee is par for the course. Trying to close the story down and move on. Such is the plight of women speaking out against their powerful male employers. But I guess suspension would imply that the investigation is still ongoing.

If the rumours are true and that the employee is a friend of Jos Verstappen, then the saga is not over by a long chalk. The Verstappen’s will not be buying in to any fudged attempt at moving on…

The leading independent barrister called in by the parent company investigated and dismissed the claims. It is reported there is also doubt about the veracity and reliability of her evidence so her suspension from the working team is to be expected at this moment. There is a time window for her to appeal if she feels aggrieved and there will be no lack of competitor support should she consider her chances to be worth the trouble.

It would be unprofessional if RBR have not ensured they are on solid ground when suspending her given the media attention and opportunity for exploitation if they have got it wrong.

Not sure you can have a so called independent barrister paid for by Red Bull GmbH to opine on such a matter. It was all done behind closed doors and what sort of representation did the female employee have ?

Has the leading barrister been named and has anyone seen the report other than Red Bull ?

No...

Then the employee can appeal, as is her right.

We will see if she chooses to, or if Toto persuades her to.

She could even move to Mercedes and be an asset for them !

Fantastic result for the young Oliver Bearman at the Saudi Arabian GP at the weekend.

Having been brought in at the last minute on Friday to replace Carlos Sainz who went down with appendicitis, he finished 7th in the race and the only Brit to beat him was Russell, finishing as he did between Russell and Norris. Such company for the rookie Bearman.

At 18 years old he is the third youngest driver in the history of the sport.

Great to see a new British talent emerging…and then some !

It seemed fitting that the first person to congratulate Ollie Bearman on his remarkable Formula One debut in Saudi Arabia was seven-time world champion and future Ferrari driver Lewis Hamilton, 21 years his elder.

As the cars pulled up in the pit lane after the chequered flag, Hamilton, who finished two places behind the Ferrari reserve driver, walked over to the cockpit of car No. 38 to give the 18-year-old a hug.

"He was basically pulling me out of the car because I was struggling," Bearman said after the race. "It was a really physical race.”

Let’s hope the team stays bonded and that Sir Lewis can be a good mentor for Ollie.

Won't be that long before Sir Lewis is wearing Ferrari red. Seeped in history and Italian flair...

Meanwhile, as the rest of the Formula 1 circus does somersaults over a few flirty WhatsApp messages the mighty Max just picks up where he left off last year with two easy wins at a canter, with his teammate following on behind.

He continues his winning streak and the competition has all but given up hope for the rest of the season. After the opening GP in Bahrain when Toto Wolf was asked if Max and RBR can win all the races in 2024 he replied..

“Unfortunately, yes. Look, today, I mean you just need to acknowledge his performance levels are really very strong. I think today Max is, he’s not in a different league, he’s in a different galaxy. The performance is extraordinary.”

Yeah, no sh*t Sherlock ! We had noticed.
