It’s great to see in Reefy’s 2024 message that the owner and mods want a return to bdsm being the primary discussion topic on here.

Also great that they still want our input and ideas. That’s always been the key to a healthy board IMO.

We shouldn’t kid ourselves it’s going to be a quick fix though.

We should definitely bring back Mistress listings and get Mistresses involved again. To be the best information network around we need their input.

Also get rid of the nonsensical endless bickering and nuisance posts. It puts folk off joining in.

Keep the Oub but just have clear rules and expectations.

There have been numerous threads all starting with exactly this same comment from you and they all had to be closed within a few weeks, and the board has progressively declined along the way. This tells us much.

I think the real problem is that for some people BDSM is in no way their primary reason for posting here, or even a minor reason (or indeed any reason at all !). They post only to spew their bile and to ‘work through’ personal ‘issues’. It is quite apparent that won’t change (your fondness for the Oub is noted) so it is not really possible for the forum to change and improve.

It is up to the Mods to save the forum because as far as anyone is aware only they have agency in the matter. The problem though is very clear, as is the solution. This forum could easily be righted with a few little tweaks, so it puzzles me why the wound has been left to turn septic and infect the board.

Maybe some folk just overthink things or are poor at making decisions.

P.S. The fact that your use of the word ‘we’ has more than a touch of the Berlin bunker feel to it says a lot about the situation.
